課程概述

This seminar will primarily be for institute students to present updates and latest findings on their research projects. The focus will be on the three core disciplines of the institute: 1) Cognitive, 2) Clinical, and 3) Neurobiological Neuroscience. 

課程目標
1) To provide students with experience in scientific presentation.
2) To provide exposure to current interdisciplinary research conducted in the field of neuroscience. 
課程要求
110學年度第二學期腦與心智專題討論規則:
1. 本學期報告時間調整。每周安排 2 或 3 位同學報告,毎位同學將報告時間控制在 20 分鐘左右,並
有 5 分鐘進行問與答,(提醒鈴聲將於 18.20.25 分鐘響起)。報告順序如之前所辦公告。
2. 每一位同學需在本學期的課堂內,總共發問六個以上的問題。無法達成此要求者,將無法拿到本
學期的書報討論學分。請於發問完後,向助教登記提問的次數。
3. 每週上課前會發下評分表給每一位同學,每個人均需要對每一位講者進行評分,並給予評語,並
於該講者結束後立即回收。評分者的出席情況將依此作為評斷標準,講者的得分也將以此計算。
4. 若無法出席,請於上課之前(亦即當日上午 10:20 之前)寄信向黃憲松老師請假,不接受課後請假。
無故缺課三次者,將無法拿到本學期的書報討論學分。
5. 每位學生將可在報告完後,隔週上課時拿到所有的評語與評分。
6. 請講者於報告前一週的週五下午五點前將英文摘要寄給助教,助教會上傳 ceiba。所有所上的成
員包含學生與專任或是合聘老師,都將於當週的週一收到隔天報告的講者資訊。
7. 指導學生報告當週,指導老師請務必出席。
Rules for the course “Brain and Mind Issues Seminar” (Spring, 2022)
1. Seminar class will have adjustments in time schedule. Please note that “Each student has 20 minutes for
presentation and more 5 minutes for Q&A”. (ringtones for reminding at 18.20.25 minutes) The order of
presentation has been announced with reference in NTUGIBMS email.
2. Every student needs to ask more than six questions throughout this course in order to get the credit of this
course. Please report the number of questions you ask to the teaching assistant.
3. Every student needs to fill in the evaluation form for each speaker. The evaluation form will be used as a
record for your attendance.
4. If you can not attend the class, you must send email to Dr. Hsien-Sung Huang before the start of the class
(10:20 am). You will not get the credit of this course if you fail to inform your absence more than three times.
5. Every student needs to submit the abstract to the teaching assistant in the week before your presentation,
specifically before 5pm on Friday.
6. Every student will get the comments/scores of his presentation in the week after his presentation.
7. Every student must invite his thesis advisor to join his presentation.
